Madison, a 30 year old Yorta Yorta woman, started smoking when she was young. It’s what her friends did. When she found out she was pregnant 10 years ago, she’d already been smoking for seven years. Madison managed to quit and stay quit for five years - for the sake of her baby’s health.

Higher smoking and vaping in LGBTIQA+ communities prompts refreshed campaign to empower quitting

‘Quit with Pride’, a social marketing campaign to prompt people in the LGBTIQA+ community to find their why for quitting smoking or vaping, launches today. The campaign will run until May 17 across Victorian radio, podcast, out of home posters, digital channels and throughout community and outdoor settings.

Quit and Cancer Council welcome a range of new mandatory changes to tobacco products coming into effect today, as Australia becomes just the second country in the world to introduce Health Warnings on individual cigarette sticks, following Canada.

Tackle quitting smoking ‘One Step’ at a time with new Quit campaigns

Quit today launches two mass media social marketing campaigns to prompt people who smoke to start their quit journey. The new ‘One Step’ and ‘Sounds Like’ campaigns will run until April 26, across Victorian radio, digital and across community and outdoor settings.
